Donald Trump rallies in Mobile, Alabama, endorses Tuberville and Moore

President Donald Trump delivered remarks at a campaign rally in Mobile, Alabama on Oct. 2, 2026 at 6 p.m. Central Time, urging voters to turn out for critical midterm contests and endorsing Republican governor candidate Tommy Tuberville and Senate candidate Barry Moore.

The appearance was part of Trump’s final October rally blitz, a schedule that has seen him hold as many as five to seven events each week in states he carried decisively in 2024. The Mobile stop followed back‑to‑back rallies the night before in Denton, Texas, and Durant, Oklahoma, and precedes a planned rally in Dayton, Ohio on Sunday.

Alongside Trump, Senate hopeful Tommy Tuberville – running for governor against former Democratic Senator Doug Jones – was on the stage, as was Rep. Barry Moore, seeking a Senate seat against Democrat Everett Wess. Additional GOP candidates, including state Rep. Rhett Marques, also attended to rally support.

Trump told reporters, “Well, I won all of them by a lot. You have to give back too,” referencing his record of winning all 77 Alabama counties in 2024 and noting his role in Tuberville’s primary victory. He added that the governor’s race was “in good shape” thanks to his endorsement.

The Mobile rally evoked nostalgia for Trump’s first mega‑rally in the city more than a decade ago, when a college football stadium hosted roughly 30,000 supporters and propelled his 2016 presidential bid.

After the Mobile event, Trump’s campaign will head to Dayton, Ohio on Sunday before diverging from the deep‑red tour with a stop near Baltimore, Maryland, on Tuesday, continuing the push to energize Republican voters ahead of the November midterms.
