Put this at the top of lists of tweets that really didn’t age well. In January, the World Health Organization announced that “Chinese authorities” had found there was no clear evidence that COVID-19 was contagious between humans.

Hindsight is always 20/20, but it is pretty obvious that the Chinese were lying to the world at this point. Doctors in hospitals weren’t dropping dead because of getting diseases from exotic animals. They were contracting it from the patients they were treating.
But even worse, doesn’t the WHO know that it is racist to refer to these authorities as “Chinese?”
Don’t they understand that there have been “dozens of examples of bias against Chinese Americans” that have been perpetuated by these harsh words????
