The Democrats turned what should’ve been a simple, human moment into a cheap PR stunt, and it’s infuriating. During Trump’s speech, when he honored DJ Daniel—a 13-year-old kid fighting terminal cancer—they couldn’t even muster the decency to stand and clap. Not for Trump, but for the kid. Instead, they sat there, smug and silent, letting their hatred for Trump drown out any shred of empathy. It’s pathetic. They had a chance to show some basic humanity, to rise above politics for a dying child, and they blew it.
And it didn’t stop there. The media, predictably, made it worse. An MSNBC host—according to The Post Millennial—had the gall to say she hopes DJ “doesn’t kill himself” over Trump’s policies. A kid with cancer, already battling more than anyone should, and they slap him with that? It’s beyond vile. The Democrats wouldn’t clap, and now their media cheerleaders are exploiting DJ to fuel their anti-Trump obsession. This wasn’t about policy debates or partisan wins—it was about giving a kid the respect he deserved. Instead, they trashed his moment, all for their own petty games. Shameful.
